Definition: Kairos (καιρός) is an ancient Greek word meaning the
"right or opportune moment". The ancient Greeks had two words for
time, chronos and kairos. While the former refers to chronological
or sequential time, the latter signifies "a time in between", a
moment of undetermined period of time in which "something" special
happens. What the special something is depends on who is using the
word. While chronos is quantitative, kairos has a qualitative
nature. (Definition thanks to

A bit about me: My first Burn was in 2006 and it completely changed
my life! I ended up staying in Reno, meeting the love of my life,
moving back to Oregon for a kick ass job and married the love of my
life at last year's Burn. I have been working in radio since 1994, I
have always been behind the microphone. Now I'm behind the scenes
producing nationally syndicated radio shows. It will be fun to get
behind the mic again! Who knows what I will play or what I might
even say! I might even have a few surprises for you!
